Accredited Calibration Laboratory No. 2395

An accredited calibration laboratory provides customers with calibrations of vibration measuring or vibration generating instruments. It is a workplace of calibration laboratory No. 2395 accredited by the Czech Metrology Institute.

Main activities

We offer

The laboratory is accredited to perform primary calibration (i.e. using a laser interferometer) and secondary calibration (comparison with a reference sensor) according to standards:

  • ČSN ISO 16063-11
  • ČSN ISO 16063-21
  • ČSN ISO 16063-41.

Some of these calibrations can be performed not only in the calibration laboratory, but also at the customer's location. The offer, the range of calibrations to be performed and the lowest stated expanded uncertainty of measurement are specified in more detail in the annex to the laboratory's accreditation certificate K2395.

Types of calibrated instruments

  • vibration sensors (with or without amplifier)
  • charge and voltage amplifiers
  • vibration meters, vibration analysers (vibrometers)
  • calibration vibrators
  • laser vibrometers
  • earthquake sensors (geophones)
  • vibration systems in testing laboratories

Calibrated quantity

  • The sensitivity of laser vibrometers, reference vibration sensors with electrical output based on the generation of a defined acceleration, velocity or deflection of vibration at a specific frequency or over a defined frequency range.
  • The vibration deflection, velocity or acceleration of a vibration generator with a reference exciter or indicated by a reference vibration magnitude meter with or without electrical output.
  • Deflection, velocity or acceleration indicated by a vibration magnitude meter (vibrometer, measuring chain or vibration test system) without or with electrical output.
  • The sensitivity of vibration sensors with electrical output based on the generation of a defined acceleration, velocity or deflection of vibration at a specific frequency or over a defined frequency range
  • The vibration deflection, velocity or acceleration of a vibration calibrator.
  • Transmission characteristics of amplifiers and filters (gain modulus and phase).

Main characteristics

  • Frequency range for calibration 0.2 Hz to 20 kHz, amplifiers are calibrated in the range 0.1 Hz to 50 kHz.
  • Resonant frequencies of vibration sensors are tested up to 50 kHz.
