Department of Control and Instrumentation has been founded in 1960, when the industry indicated
the need for experts in the field of
automated control, measurement and computer
science. In 1965 a Department of
Computer Science has separated form the
Department of Control and Instrumentation (recently is has transformed into a
Faculty of
Computer Science).
At present time students at the Department may follow Bachelor study programme (finished by
Bachelors degree - Bc.), Master study programme (finished by Masters degree - Ing.)
and Post-graduate study programme (finished by PhD. degree).
Bachelor study programme is performed in study field named Automation and Measurement
Instrumentation, Master study programme and Post- graduate study programmes are performed
in the field of Cybernetics, Automation and Measurement.
During Masters study programme in the study field of Cybernetics, automation and
measurement the students may focus to following specializations:
