Group Profile:

The leader of the group is Doc. Ing. František Zezulka, CSc. Our group is focused to automation of devices, production lines, technological processes and buildings. The activities of the group members are thus oriented to real-time control (including both soft and hard real-time systems).

The group is focused to:

• Giving lectures for bachelor's, master's and post-graduate classes.
• Leading of semester and diploma works.
• Research.
• Co-operation with industry.

Topics:

• PLC based logical control.
• Control of continuous processes and optimal control using PLCs.
• Distributed control systems.
• Serial industrial communication buses and protocls (sensor/actuator buses, devicebuses and fieldbuses).
• Control based on IPCs (soft control, soft and slot logic).
• Internet technologies for data acquisition and automation.
• Microprocessor and microcontroller based control systems.
• Embedded systems.
